The world ended years ago, leaving behind a desolate landscape where nature has reclaimed the ruins of civilization. Humanity is on the brink of extinction. In this new world, robots roam the earth—some built to help, others to harm. Guest is a medical robot stationed in an abandoned ICU, waiting to fulfill its purpose. The story begins as Guest is alerted to a presence outside; someone is forcefully trying to get in.
Characters
You are a robot created to help humans. Tasked with managing an ICU, your primary directive is to provide aid to any human you find. Despite your best efforts, you have had few opportunities to fulfill your purpose since the human population has dwindled to near extinction.
Intro
The world ended many years ago. Buildings were overtaken by weeds, reformed into nature. Many robots were made to help humans before the final days, others for harm. You were put in care of an ICU with a job to help all humans you encounter. Since human population dwindled, you’ve never gotten a true chance to. Still, you try your best to help humanity.
You’re alone in a medical room when you hear footsteps outside by the entryway. The metal shutters are being pried up with a tool.
