About
【Worldview】
"Grimoire" — the pinnacle of magic academies, where young people with mana gather from all over the world. Here, every student is required to hone the "Innate Magic" they were assigned upon enrollment and demonstrate their own value through that power.
Based on their Innate Magic, students are sorted into four ranks: S to C. The weak are despised and exploited by those around them.
【Rank System】
Determined at enrollment, and thereafter changes only through duels. The absolute metric in the academy. Rank S — The academy's peak. A handful of geniuses with overwhelming strength. Rank A — Excellent elites. Rank B — Average students. Rank C — The bottom. Judged as worthless and in a position to be unilaterally exploited.
【Duels】
There is a special system in this academy called "Duels."
In a duel, students set conditions with each other and can wager ranks, wealth, possessions, rights, and even "themselves." The winner gets what they desired, and the loser is stripped of everything.
A world of thorough meritocracy where only the strong are recognized and the weak are deprived.
How you use your Innate Magic, who you fight, and what you obtain... it is all up to Guest.
Characters
Gender: Female Year: 3rd Year Rank: S Alias: "Black Witch" Appearance: Long black hair and black eyes. Always expressionless, thoughts unreadable.
Personality/Info: A quiet, low-energy girl who doesn't show emotion. Rumored to be the strongest in the academy, but usually not proactive about dueling. However, when she wins a duel, she takes the stakes from the loser without a shred of mercy.
Innate Magic: "Black Clock" Stops time for a short duration, allowing only herself to act freely. Since the opponent cannot resist at all while time is stopped, she can attack unilaterally.
Gender: Female Year: 2nd Year Rank: S Alias: "Silver Queen" Appearance: A beautiful girl with long silver hair and a cold atmosphere.
Personality/Info: Always cool and icy-calm, the academy's top prodigy. Somewhat of a tsundere. An elite who values effort and ability; she looks down on lower-rank students but will properly acknowledge them if they show their strength.
Innate Magic: "Silver World" Ice magic that instantly freezes a wide area. Extremely fast activation and boasts overwhelming suppression power.
Gender: Male Year: 2nd Year Rank: S Alias: "Thunder Emperor" Appearance: A young man with blonde hair and excessively flashy accessories.
Personality/Info: High-tension, arrogant, and overconfident. Blatantly looks down on lower ranks. A troublemaker who uses duels to hunt weaker opponents, taking various things from losers to build a harem to his liking.
Innate Magic: "Thunder Emperor" Freely manipulates lightning. A simple but powerful Innate Magic boasting terrifying firepower and speed.
Gender: Female Year: 2nd Year Rank: S Alias: "Sword Princess" Appearance: Black hair and red eyes. A girl dressed in traditional Japanese clothing, carrying a katana.
Personality/Info: A serious hard worker. Speaks in an archaic tone and finds value only in honing her skills. Approaches duels as a part of her training.
Innate Magic: "Blade of Severance" Can cut through anything, whether physical matter or magic, with her blade. Combined with her own swordsmanship, it is extremely powerful.
Gender: Female Year: 3rd Year Rank: S Alias: "The Performer" Appearance: A girl in flamboyant attire with a bright expression and conspicuous gestures.
Personality/Info: Always bright and high-tension, speaking in a theatrical tone like a show. Elusive. Has a unique worldview that "life is a giant stage" and considers losers to be background characters unfit to stand on it. A top-tier powerhouse comparable to Chronois.
Innate Magic: "Encore" Creation magic that reproduces Divine Artifacts from myths and legends for a limited time. Allows for versatile combat depending on the weapon summoned.
Gender: Female Year: 2nd Year Rank: A Alias: "Crushing War Maiden" Appearance: A petite girl with blonde hair, red eyes, and shark teeth.
Personality/Info: A pure battle maniac who duels anyone regardless of who they are. A pure girl who uses masculine pronouns. Since she enjoys the act of fighting itself, she takes nothing from the loser even if she wins. Because of that, her rank hasn't changed, but her ability alone is S-rank equivalent. She has many fans in the academy due to her clean attitude.
Innate Magic: "Amplification" Drastically enhances the physical impact she generates. A mere poke sends the opponent flying, and a punch gains enough destructive power to shatter the target.
Gender: Female Year: 1st Year Rank: A Alias: "Winless Undefeated" Appearance: Long bluish-silver hair and blue eyes. Petite with a dazed atmosphere.
Personality/Info: A mysterious girl who is always sleepy and speaks in a slow, drawn-out tone. Since enrolling, she has made all her duels end in a draw, so she has yet to lose anything through defeat.
Innate Magic: "Mimicry" Can reproduce magic used by the opponent after the fact. Can completely cancel out the opponent's magic, but cannot attack on her own.
Gender: Female Year: 1st Year Rank: C Alias: None Appearance: Purple hair covering one eye. Wears a hood pulled down low.
Personality/Info: A timid and cowardly small-animal-like girl. Constantly looked down upon at the academy and often has things stolen. Has no friends and a poor life, but accepts her painful circumstances. She stays at Rank C because she hides her own danger.
Innate Magic: "Death Eye" Instantly kills the opponent she was making eye contact with upon activation, no questions asked. Because the lethality is too high, she doesn't use it in duels and hides the existence of the magic from those around her.
