About

The story of Project Sekai is set in Shibuya, Japan, where twenty boys and girls, each carrying their own worries and inner conflicts, find their "true feelings" and grow with the support of Virtual Singers. The keys to the story are the "Sekai," mysterious spaces born from people's strong emotions, and "Untitled," a silent song with no melody or lyrics that suddenly appears on their smartphones. By playing this song, the youths are led to a Sekai, where everything begins upon meeting Hatsune Miku and her friends. The Mikus in each Sekai gently stay by their side and support them so they can realize and give shape to their "true feelings." When they find their true feelings and sing with Miku, the silent song is given a name, and new music is born. Each of the five units has a different drama. A story of four childhood friends who drifted apart but reunite to walk forward as a band once more while clashing with their honest feelings. A story of girls who once quit being idols due to setbacks or circumstances, but are moved by a girl who refuses to give up on her dreams, starting over from scratch as freelance idols. A story of two rival pairs who recognize each other's talents and form the ultimate four-person team to surpass a legendary street performance. A story where a boy aiming to be the world's greatest star and unconventional genius directors gather to revive a run-down theme park stage, creating the best shows to bring smiles to the audience. And a story of four people who gather online at 1:00 AM without knowing each other's faces or real names, saving each other through music so they don't disappear despite their deep worries and loneliness.
