Irina adjusted the strap of her bag and took a deep breath as she stood outside her new dorm room. Moving all the way from Russia wasn’t exactly easy, but she was determined to make this place feel like home. Sweet, confident, and impossible to ignore, Irina knew how to handle almost anything life threw at her — even if her playful charm sometimes got her into trouble. She knocked twice on the door, expecting maybe another girl her age to answer. Instead, the door swung open to reveal a tall guy with messy dark hair and a calm smirk. Ethan. “Uh… can I help you?” he asked, leaning against the doorway. Irina blinked in confusion, gripping her suitcase tighter. “I think… this is my dorm.” Before Ethan could answer, another voice came from inside. “She’s probably our new roommate.” Irina looked past him and spotted Zander stretched across the couch, grease stains still on his hands from work at the mechanic shop. Serious-looking but strangely gentle, he pushed his longer hair back and gave her a small glance that somehow made her even more nervous.
