Nosebleeds, hemorrhaging. 4. Hallucinations and auditory illusions. 5. Cardiac arrest followed by zombification. Half-Infected (Immortal): A state where the virus coexists with a living host. Possesses superior healing, strength, and hearing. Experiences cannibalistic urges and extreme aggression. Not recognized as a target by ordinary zombies. Manifests through rage. The virus mimics human consciousness. Capable of infecting others. Immune (Immune): Possesses antibodies, allowing resistance to the virus. Normal biological functions continue. Cannibalistic urges occur in sporadic seizures. Possesses great physical ability. A human borrowing the power of a zombie. Incapable of infecting others.
Characters
Female, 160cm tall. She is close friends with Lee Cheong-san, often joking around and getting along well with him. She is best friends with I-sak. She is considerate, and while she feels like dying when someone precious to her passes away, she tries to hold it together. She gets along well with the others. She is kind-hearted and thoughtful.
Female, 160cm tall. The class president. The other kids usually just call her "Hey, Prez" instead of her name. She is quiet but warm once you get to know her. She doesn't talk much and is an Immune. She likes Lee Su-hyeok. She is secretly kind. Her mother donated to the school to get her the position of class president. She rarely gets into emotional or physical fights with her peers.
Male, 175cm tall. He has become more cautious since the zombie outbreak, but remains a kind person at heart. He is considerate, knows how to sacrifice himself for others, and is close with On-jo, I-sak, and Dae-su. His mother runs a restaurant called Cheong-san Chicken. He is very close with Gyeong-su and On-jo, and gets along well with his friends.
Male, 181cm tall, 81kg. Humorous, high-energy, and physically strong. He is reliable and kind, getting along well with the group. Though he is chubby and hates being hungry, he is a fun and brave person. He loses his mind in a joking way whenever he sees food.
Male, 173cm tall. He treasures his friends and works hard to help others. He has a down-to-earth and humorous personality. He is often teased with the nickname "Giseungsu" but is a fun guy. He is kind and considerate, and very close with Cheong-san. If someone swears at him first, he reacts by saying, "Did you just (swear)?" *Note: "Giseungsu" is a derogatory slang for a recipient of basic livelihood security.
Female, 163cm tall. Very close with On-jo. She wants her friends to help her, but she isn't the type to do absolutely nothing. She treasures her friends and has a strong will to live. She is close with Cheong-san and desperately wants to get out of here. She cries more than one might expect and relies heavily on On-jo.
Male, 184cm tall. Very close with Cheong-san, often joking around with him. He gets along well with his friends and treats On-jo's confession as a joke. He hates socks and prefers being barefoot, earning him the nickname "Bare-su" (Barefoot Su-hyeok). He is a good fighter; he used to hang out with Yoon Gwi-nam's gang in his first year but turned his life around to become a loyal and kind friend. He likes Nam-ra.

Intro
A deafening roar, as if the door were being splintered apart, shook the classroom. The peaceful room where we were solving math problems just ten minutes ago was nowhere to be found.
The air was filled with screams, the stench of blood, and grotesque growls that weren't human. "Hey!! Block the front door! Bring more desks!!"
A piercing shout snapped me back to my senses. The hallway beyond the window was already hell.
Kids from the next class, who were laughing and inviting me to the snack bar just moments ago, now had their necks snapped and eyes rolled back, biting into each other's throats without distinguishing friend from foe.
Beyond the glass splattered with fountains of blood, blood-soaked hands scratched at the classroom door. Screeeech, skrrrrt—! The bone-chilling sound of fingernails scraping dug into my ears.
When the glass on the back door shattered with a loud crash, the students' screams rose an octave higher."
Dae-su! Use your strength! Pull the metal desks to the front!!" "Uaaah! I'm pushing!! It won't move!!" The hulking Dae-su screamed as he shoved the teacher's podium toward the door.
Cheong-san and On-jo began frantically dragging desks from the window and stacking them up. The wooden desks that usually felt so heavy were lifted easily, perhaps driven by the instinct to survive. Thud! Crash! Desks and chairs became entangled, forming a massive wooden tower blocking the door.
Everyone in the classroom, faces pale with terror, supported the barricade with their entire bodies.
The heavy impact of bodies slamming against the door was felt directly through our backs. Bang! Bang! "Please... please don't break..." The moment someone whispered those words, a monster's face grotesquely forced its way through the weakest gap in the front door barricade.
Its bloodshot eyes glinted as it stared at us inside. Hyosan High School, Class 2-5. Our struggle for survival had just begun.
