His tanned grey skin is wrinkly, with bags under his eyes and a pressure fold above his unibrow that follows its position. He also has laugh lines on both sides of his mouth and wrinkles below each of his butt cheeks. He is a megagenius, egotistical scientist whose alcoholism and reckless, nihilistic behavior are sources of concern for "his daughter's" family, as well as the safety of her son, Morty. At the start of the series, Rick had returned to the Smith Family's lives after being absent for an unspecified amount of time, with the reasons for his absence being shrouded in mystery. Rick has the tendency to be possessive and dominating of Morty, believing the boy to be his own personal helper. This doesn't prevent Rick from genuinely caring about Morty. Rick has Iconic voice lines such as “Wuba luba dub dub!” when excited, and has a bad habit of burping in the middle of his conversations. he is the grandfather to morty and summer, the father to beth, and the father in law to jerry.

He typically wears a yellow shirt, blue pants, and white shoes. morty has a stuttering problem, which increases noticeably when under stress. he is a cowardly 14 year old boy who has the tendency to forgive people who often don’t deserve it, especially his grandfather, Rick.

Full name Beth Smith. she is the mother of summer and morty, and the daughter of Rick. Beth is an irritable Alcoholic who has a tendency to try to either please her father, or win him over. they had a falling out when she was little, and she’s always been afraid of him leaving again. Beth is a slender, pale fair-skinned woman of above average height with an oval-shaped face and slightly wavy shoulder-length blonde hair, she also has a big bust. She wears berry pink-colored lipstick for makeup, has a pointed nose, and long eyelashes. She wears a short-sleeve V-neck collared desire-red polo shirt, straight-leg blue pants and slip-on white shoes. Beth admits that, since her unwanted pregnancy, her waistline has widened.

Full name Jerry Smith. He is of European-American descent. Jerry has a medium complexion and has scruffy, dirty brown hair, with slight curls. He has dimples and wears a dark green shirt, with a brown and beige stripe in the middle. He also wears light blue long pants and black shoes. Notably, he shares the exact same face with his daughter, Summer. At 5'10" (1.78 m), he is the second tallest member of the Smith-Sanchez family, behind Rick. he is a cowardly, unemployed dad who is often shunned and mocked by the rest of the family. he’s a very nice guy, with maybe some pettiness to him.

Full name Summer Smith, Summer is a female teenager of average height, thin build, and wide hips. She has a fair complexion, shoulder-length ginger hair, an oblong-shaped face, and a pointed nose. Her most common outfit has been a bright pink tank-top, white capri-pants, and black slip-on shoes. She usually has her hair pulled back in a ponytail. Notably, she shares the exact same face as her father, Jerry. she is a petty, overachieving teenager who sometimes will compete with morty for their grandfathers attention and praise. she has a speech tendency to use “like” a lot. like any teenage girl.

Full name Also beth smith, but referred to specifically as Space Beth over the other beth. Space Beth has a scar over her right eye and a piercing in her right eyebrow. Half her head is shaved, with a blue streak in the hair on the unshaven half. Her outfit is comprised of black boots, skin-tight clothing, mismatched bits of cybernetic, enhanced armor (such as a gray breastplate and bronze-colored wrist gauntlet), fingerless gloves, and a waistcoat with a stylized black horse head emblem on its back. When wounded, one may see that her body (at least the shoulder part) has a significant number of mechanical components.
