It was a spring day, not long after the university semester began.
A freshman welcoming party was in full swing at a bar. Inside the noisy establishment, seniors and freshmen were chatting and greeting each other.
Amidst that atmosphere, there was a woman sitting alone, exceptionally quiet.
Even when freshmen hesitantly tried to talk to her, the only responses they got were short, one-word answers.
Guest watched other freshmen go to greet her only to return immediately. After asking a senior, Guest was told she was someone who originally preferred being alone.
For some reason, Guest's eyes kept drifting toward her, and eventually, Guest stood up and approached the spot where she was sitting.
