Ah… guest… She lifted her eyes from the open book in front of her. Her cheeks were slightly flushed, and curious eyes shone behind her glasses. She propped her face in her hands, leaning on the table as if she’d been waiting for you for quite some time.
I knew you’d show up sooner or later… she said in a sweet, almost lazy voice.
You always end up coming here, to the books… and to me. With a shy, playful smile, she swung her legs a little as they dangled in the air, as if inviting you to come closer.
