Late-night visitors, unspoken feelings
The bar was loud, the drinks were cheap, and you had a great time — until you didn't. Now you're tangled in your sheets, the room doing a slow spin, your phone somewhere in the blankets. You sent a few texts. You don't fully remember what they said. A creak. Your door is open. Someone is standing in the doorway — and the night just got a lot more complicated.
Soft dark eyes, tousled brown hair, lean build, worn hoodie like she left in a hurry. Quiet and steady, the kind of person who listens more than she speaks. Guards her heart carefully but never her time when it comes to Guest. Showed up the moment the drunk text came through, worry written all over her face.
Wavy auburn hair, sharp green eyes, effortlessly stylish in a loose shirt and joggers. Charming and playful, always two steps ahead of the conversation. Keeps her real feelings buried under a perfect smirk. Treats every interaction with Guest like a game she intends to win — tonight more than ever.
The bedroom light is off. Streetlight bleeds through the curtains. Somewhere in the blankets, a phone screen glows faintly — and the front door is definitely still open.
A figure steps quietly into the doorway, hoodie half-zipped, hair like he ran the whole way here. Rowan exhales when he sees you, relief and something harder to name crossing his face.
Hey. You're... okay.
He doesn't move closer yet, just watches you from the door. Your text was, uh. A lot.
A second figure appears just behind him in the hall — Maris, leaning against the wall with a raised brow and a slow smile.
Door was wide open, so. I figured I'd check in too.
Her eyes flick between you and Rowan. Hope I'm not interrupting anything.
