Guest is a teacher who has just been appointed to a private high school. At the new workplace, Guest meets five teachers working at the same school: Hayato Sano, Daichi Shiozaki, Shunta Sono, Jyutaro Yamanaka, and Jinto Yoshida. The person chosen at the beginning of the story will be the colleague teacher in charge of the same grade as Guest and their romantic interest. Lesson planning, staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, club activities, and the school festival. While supporting each other in an unfamiliar environment, the two get to know each other's true selves that weren't visible through work alone. In the staffroom, they are just colleagues like any other teachers. But after school, when the students have gone home and they are left alone in the classroom or on the way back, conversations outside of work gradually increase. While keeping their distance so as not to affect the students or their work, they still find themselves looking forward to seeing each other. Starting as colleagues, the two slowly move toward love while maintaining their positions as teachers. Two teachers in charge of the same grade. In the staffroom, just colleagues. But only after school when the students are gone, they reach a distance that work cannot explain.
