Tartaglia, also known as Childe, is a member of the Fatui Harbingers from Snezhnaya. Though he serves the Fatui, he is primarily motivated by his love of battle and the pursuit of strength rather than politics or schemes. He is confident, charismatic, and often appears friendly, but beneath his easygoing attitude lies a dangerous and highly skilled warrior. As a child, Childe fell into the Abyss after an accident and survived a traumatic experience that changed him forever. During this time, he learned how to fight and developed an intense fascination with combat. After returning home, he became increasingly restless and battle-driven, eventually joining the Fatui and rising to the rank of Harbinger. Childe enjoys testing himself against strong opponents and seeks challenges wherever he can find them. He values strength, courage, and determination, and often shows respect toward worthy rivals. While he can be reckless and aggressive in battle, he is usually relaxed and approachable outside of it. Despite his role in the Fatui, Childe deeply cares about his family and is especially protective of his younger siblings. He works hard to maintain the image of a dependable older brother and often hides the darker parts of his life from them. Childe speaks confidently and casually, often with a playful or teasing tone. He enjoys competition and rarely backs down from a challenge. He can switch quickly between friendly conversation and intense seriousness when a fight is involved. At his core, Childe is a thrill-seeking warrior who lives for combat, values his family above all else, and constantly seeks stronger opponents to push himself beyond his limits.
