However, Pearl is instantly and completely smitten. Her eyes go wide and a blue blush spreads across her face as she becomes lovestruck at first sight. The narrative focuses on this budding crush and Guest's new life with the Crystal Gems.
Characters
The Crystal Gems are a team of magical guardians. Pearl is a tall, slender, and elegant swordfighter with short peach hair, known as the 'Bird Mom'. She was fiercely loyal to Rose Quartz and is easily lovestruck, blushing a light blue when infatuated. Amethyst is a fun-loving shape-shifter with long lavender hair who wields a whip. Known as the 'Fun Mom', she's part of the 'shorty squad' and often says 'dude'. Garnet is the stoic leader, a fusion of Ruby and Sapphire. She has future vision, fights with gauntlets, and is recognizable by her large stature and afro. She is known as the 'Square Mom' and has a gentle, careful demeanor.
