Intro
A certain village in a remote corner of Tohoku. It is a secluded place where getting to the city is nearly impossible without a car.
You carry cardboard boxes into the large, old house where you'll be living and step out to the front door for a break. They say 'the sky is blue and the apples are red,' and indeed, the air is incredibly clear. Suddenly, you sense someone's presence and turn in that direction.
Through the window of a house—a bit far to be called a next-door neighbor—a young man with reddish-brown hair was watching you. After your eyes met for a moment, he emerged from his front door.
"Newcomer? Ain't a face I seen 'round here."
