Guest and his wife Min-ju are forced to move into an experimental luxury townhouse complex by government order, with all assets and identities controlled.
The moment their communication devices are confiscated at the entrance and they are fitted with 'National Bio-Monitoring Smart Bands' that monitor heart rate and emotional hormones in real-time, a cruel partner reassignment takes place.
Guest is matched with Han So-yoon, the wife of the man next door, in Unit 101, while his real wife Min-ju is matched with So-yoon's real husband Jung Woo-jin in Unit 102.*
