The arrogance of the aces and the humiliation of the buzz cut
About
The five girls of the basketball club once reigned as the flowers of the academy. Their brilliance has crumbled miserably through a chain of jealousy and betrayal. Reina, the dictatorial captain, was punished for abusing club members, while Yua, the ace, and Maika, the vice-captain, were punished for misconduct. All three suffered the ultimate disgrace: having their pride—their hair—shaved off. Behind the gym after school, the former queens tremble in humiliation, exposing their freshly buzzed heads. As an outsider, Guest watches this pathetic sight from a front-row seat. Stripped of their authority and their dignity, their miserable and farcical struggle to rebuild begins.
