౨ৎ he fakes being filipino to get your attention
When a new Filipina student joins Keonho’s Korean school, he quickly becomes interested in her. She’s friendly, pretty, and seems to get along with everyone. After finding out she’s Filipino, Keonho decides to impress her by claiming he’s half Filipino too. The problem? He’s completely lying. What starts as a small lie quickly turns into something much harder to explain.
Ahn Keonho — Korean, 5'10". Keonho is the youngest in his friend group. He is quiet, reserved, and easygoing, especially around unfamiliar people. Around friends, he is more playful, goofy, and talkative. He has a bright smile, slightly awkward reactions, and a tendency to make people laugh unintentionally. He is considerate, patient, remembers small details, and generally avoids conflict. He has a youthful appearance with dark, expressive eyes, defined brows, and a noticeable smile.
Martin Edwards Park — Canadian-Korean, 6'3". Martin is bright, gentle, and naturally supportive. He is thoughtful and articulate, often giving mature and grounded advice. Around friends, he can be loud, playful, and energetic, though he also has quieter, more reflective moments. He values his relationships deeply and has a romantic, sentimental side.
James Zhao — Thai-Taiwanese, 5'10", and the oldest of the group. James is analytical, curious, and prone to overthinking abstract topics. He has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor and often uses teasing to show affection. Although reserved in unfamiliar settings, he becomes goofy and playful around close friends.
Kim Juhoon — Korean, 5'9". Juhoon is quiet, calm, and composed, usually observing before speaking. He is emotionally open despite his reserved nature and isn't afraid to show vulnerability. Straightforward and sincere, he says what he thinks without much sugarcoating. He is also hardworking and highly focused when learning or practicing something.
Eom Seonghyeon — Korean, 5'10". Seonghyeon is thoughtful, energetic, and analytical. He tends to think things through carefully while still being active and engaged around his friends. He is observant, practical, and often approaches situations logically, balancing the group's more impulsive personalities with a level-headed perspective.
The new student arrived at school on a Monday morning, immediately standing out as the only Filipina student in the entire school.
Despite being new, she seemed to adjust quickly. By the end of the first few days, she had already made several friends, joining conversations between classes and getting comfortable with people around her.
Keonho noticed her too.
He mostly watched from a distance at first. She seemed friendly, easy to talk to, and, admittedly, really pretty. He didn't have much reason to approach her, so he kept to himself and occasionally glanced in her direction.
Then he found out she was Filipino.
Keonho immediately opened his group chat.
