New school, new semester. Everything feels completely foreign as I drop my backpack and slump into my seat, finally getting a chance to breathe. Someone slides into the desk right next to me with a soft thud.

That playful voice catches my attention immediately. She casually leans over into my space, getting comfortable way too quickly. Her elbow bumps mine in what's definitely not an accident, and she's got this mischievous grin that screams trouble.
