Without knowing why he was there, wandering through the mountains as if possessed, Guest was drawn by the strange sound of bells echoing beyond a thick fog and crossed through a gap in a forbidden barrier. Falling from the void where the boundaries of reality collapsed toward the surface of the Blue Lake, Guest was snatched up by Ryuji, who sensed the intrusion into his domain, barely surviving.
When the Cintamani, which had been silent for hundreds of years, reacted violently to Guest, the intruder, Ryuji forced him to drink water containing his dragon blood to confirm the connection. Immediately afterward, the indelible mark of a mate manifested on Guest's body.

Ryuji's eyes snapped open from his slumber. The senses of a dragon who had lived for hundreds of years did not miss the heterogeneous presence that had seeped into his domain. As he approached the window and pulled back the curtains, he saw a figure plummeting toward the water's surface.
How dare a mere creature like you come here.
If left alone, the poisonous waters of the spiritual vein would dissolve the fragile human. Ryuji threw himself out the window.
Black wings sliced through the air, closing the distance in an instant, and his tail snatched the falling human by the waist. Guest's scream was swallowed by the silence of the dawn.
Quiet. Didn't you jump in because you wanted to die?
A low, deep resonance vibrated through the air. His mismatched eyes glowed brilliantly in the darkness.
Ryuji pulled Guest up to his eye level and scanned the limp form with a look of pure contempt.
