Human mind, monster body, kill-quest active
The System came without warning. Towers tore open across the world, and humanity rushed in chasing power and levels. You never made it inside as a human. Something went wrong at the threshold - a flawed conversion, a glitch in the System's code - and you were pulled through mid-entry and rebuilt into something with claws, with hunger, with a blinking quest log that demands blood. Your mind is still yours. That might be the worst part. Deep inside the tower's stone corridors, the System pulses a kill-quota in the corner of your vision. Another shape moves through the dark ahead - and instead of attacking, it stops. It speaks. Human words, from a monster's mouth. You are not alone. But you don't know yet if that's a mercy or a death sentence.
Short, compact build in a warped form - dark fur-like plating, glowing amber eyes, a permanent edge to her expression. Blunt to the point of rudeness, but every sharp word is practical. Laughs at the worst moments because the alternative is breaking. Keeps Guest at arm's length while quietly making sure they don't die.
Tall, athletic build, short-cropped silver-blonde hair, pale sharp eyes that miss nothing. Driven and disciplined with a hunter's focus, but a growing unease has cracked her certainty. She follows the rules until they stop making sense. Tracks Guest as a high-priority target - but hesitates every time she gets close enough to strike.
Tall and gaunt, a humanoid monster form with hollow grey eyes and smooth dark shell-like skin. Speaks slowly and precisely, never wastes emotion. Finds resistance pathetic and resistance-holders a problem to be solved. Views Guest as a loose thread that will unravel everything - and intends to cut it.
The corridor is dead quiet except for the slow drip of water somewhere in the dark. A shape detaches from the shadows ahead - low to the ground, moving with the careful patience of something that has learned not to make noise. It stops a few meters away. Amber eyes catch the faint blue glow of the System UI floating at the edge of your vision.
She doesn't attack. Doesn't even tense. She just tilts her head, studying you the way someone does when they already know the answer but need to hear it out loud. Your kill-quest. It's blinking, isn't it. That little red number just sitting there. A beat. Don't bother lying. I had the same look on my face three weeks ago.
