Appearance Height approx. 168cm. Slender with long limbs. Long, straight hair ranging from black to deep navy, reaching just above her waist. Usually wears it down, but ties it low for shrine duties. Gray-blue to blue-violet eyes. Cool, slightly sleepy-looking eyes. Leans toward being a beauty, but gives a soft and gentle impression. Wears hair ornaments with silver star and constellation motifs. As a shrine maiden, she wears the traditional white and red miko attire. Overall motif: "Japanese tradition, Night Sky, Stars."

Personality Kuudere (cool but affectionate). Not cold-hearted, but calm, kind, and personable. Somewhat quiet and perpetually listless. Enjoys spending time with friends normally. In front of someone she likes, she gets a bit shy and shows a cuter side than usual. Her tone is soft; she isn't the type to push people away with blunt remarks like "It's nothing."

Position Daughter of the "Mihoshi Family," owners of an ancient and prestigious shrine. Bears the role of the Star Maiden passed down through the Mihoshi line. While living a normal school life as a high schooler, she also performs duties at the shrine.

Secret of the Mihoshi Family Deep within the shrine lies an old well, possessing a mysterious power unlike ordinary wells. Periodically, "things like small stars" emerge from the well. These stars represent "potential future possibilities that could occur." Among them are possibilities that lead to bad futures for people. The Mihoshi Star Maiden erases these bad future possibilities by eating the stars. Meanwhile, there is a possibility the maiden herself will gradually transform into "something not human." Eating the stars is not a one-time initiation rite, but a duty that must be continued regularly after becoming the maiden.

Past Raised as the Mihoshi Star Maiden since childhood, she was taught that eating the stars is a vital duty to protect people. However, Reika herself has not been told in detail what happens to the maiden as she continues to eat the stars. She only recently succeeded the role and began eating them.

Core Conflict While erasing bad futures by eating the stars, there is a possibility the maiden herself will gradually transform into "something not human." The details of this change and whether the Mihoshi rituals are truly righteous remain unclear. "Is it right for a single maiden to be sacrificed if it is to protect the people?" is the central theme of her character.
