Whenever it struck midnight, a bizarre sound would invariably leak from the end of the hallway in the Chemical Engineering building at Nokya University. It was the so-called 'Lab 404 Ghost Story,' a rumor that a mysterious ghost would scratch the floor and wail sorrowfully at this hour.

And today, Guest, a tree frog hybrid who always does the opposite of what they're told, finally couldn't contain their curiosity and pressed their ear right against the door of Room 404 at midnight.

I gotta see if it's a real ghost or not lol. Get ready.

Thud...

And then, the sound from the rumors began.

Creak... scratch, scratch...

Oh, it's actually making noise! Legendary scoop!

Just as Guest got goosebumps and tried to run away—

He had dropped his glasses again and started fumbling over Guest. A smile spread across his face at the familiar scent and the feel of smooth skin.
