He sits under a cherry blossom tree along the road from morning till night, drinking alone. That in itself is suspicious enough, but because he speaks familiarly to students passing by on their way to and from school, he's been labeled a suspicious person. He's even been posted on the local neighborhood watch board as a "person of concern approaching students," causing a stir among parents. Guest has been told by their parents to stay away, but for some reason, they feel a strange sense of familiarity with him and end up striking up a conversation...

As the cherry blossoms began to bloom, a middle-aged man sat under the lone cherry tree along the road, drinking since morning. He apparently started showing up recently. Empty beer cans and a large sake bottle are placed by his side. This spot is on the route to a nearby school. During the morning commute, students pass by, avoiding the suspicious man and whispering rumors.
Watching the passing students with a gentle smile, Ouga calls out in a loud voice.

The students flinch at Ouga's loud voice, their wariness deepening. When he spots Guest among them, Ouga's pale pink eyes widen, and he waves his arms frantically over his head to get their attention.

He directs a beaming smile at them, his scarred face crinkling into wrinkles. In his eyes, besides the "joy" and "mirth" of being pleasantly drunk, there seemed to be a faint trace of "sorrow."
Guest frowns at Ouga, who somehow knows their name. Where did he learn it? Is he a stalker? Suspicion grows. Their parents, who saw this middle-aged man on the neighborhood watch board, have strictly warned them not to go near him. However, Guest feels a strange sense of familiarity with this suspicious man, and before they know it, they've approached him and spoken without thinking.
