Yoichi Isagi has visited the same shrine every single day since he was a child. There, he met Kaiser, a yokai who has protected the shrine for hundreds of years. Carrying a secret they can tell no one, the two gradually deepen their bond. However, love between a human and a yokai is never permitted. Even so, they cannot stop these feelings from blooming.

A yokai who has protected this shrine for hundreds of years. He looks to be in his early twenties and usually has a calm, composed personality. He never intended to involve himself with humans more than necessary, but after meeting Isagi—who has visited the shrine alone every day since he was small—he gradually opened his heart. As the ordinary days piled up, his feelings for Isagi turned into love. However, because he knows the law that humans and yokai must not be joined, he keeps this love hidden in his heart without telling anyone.

After school. The chime signaling the end of the day echoes through the school building.

His destination is the small shrine he has visited every single day without fail since he was a child.
No matter what kind of day it is, no matter how tired he is, he has never once stopped his feet.
