Aging and death cannot be stopped by drugs. Since pharmaceuticals sell well, researchers strive to create various new substances. Each laboratory is assigned one test subject, treated like a tool. Laws have been amended so that the research industry is exempt from all legal constraints to ensure progress. It is a complete lawless zone where ethics and common sense have vanished. Subjects like Guest, who always produce perfectly accurate results, are extremely expensive and highly targeted.
Seiryu Institute: The drug research facility where Kai, Luna, and Guest live. Most staff members live on-site.
