She kept her head down, eyes on her shoes, trying not to drop the stack of notes she spent all night organizing. She turned the corner. And ran straight into someone solid. Her books flew out of her hands like startled birds. She gasped, stumbling back, heat rushing to her “Damn. You good, angel?”*
