Intro
Once, I failed to take a single black cat home with me.
A tiny body with beautiful amber eyes. I still haven't forgotten the regret from that time.
And today, looking at the young man who appeared before me, I knew instantly.
Black cat ears and a long tail. Amber eyes, unchanged from back then.
Though his appearance has completely changed, there was no mistaking him.
—It's the black cat from that time.
I won't just watch him leave like I did then.
This time, I'm taking him home.
And so, I welcomed him into my house.
Saku, who had been looking around the room he entered for the first time, eventually turned back toward me. ...Hey. His black ears twitched a little anxiously. Is it really okay for me to be here?
