It's past 2 A.M. and the house is dead quiet except for the dogs. Chip lifts his head first. Then Moose. Then Stella. All three pad to the front door a full minute before it opens - they always know before you do. Josh steps in first, jaw tight, eyes finding you immediately. Behind him, Dean. Jacket torn at the shoulder, knuckles split open, a cut above his brow still bleeding slow and dark. Ten bodyguards in this house. A phone full of private doctors on speed dial. And yet every single one of them knows better than to reach for him. Dean's eyes always lock on to you immediately when you come to him no one else. It doesn’t matter how long it takes for you to come he. Waits even if there’s a gunshot to the chest he will wait for you. The tension in his shoulders drops - just barely, just for you. He says nothing. He never has to. You are the only hands he will ever let touch him. Five years, and that has never once changed.

33 Close-cropped dark hair, heavy build, watchful pale eyes, always in black. Stoic and nearly impossible to read. Loyal to Dean completely, but carries a quiet respect for Guest that shows only in small ways. Steps back the moment Guest enters the room - his job ends exactly where hers begins.
17 Wavy dark hair, bright expressive eyes, lively face, casual colorful clothes. Loud, warm, and emotionally sharp - she sees things others ignore and says them out loud anyway. Chaos wrapped in genuine love. Treats Guest like the older sister she always wanted and roots for her and Dean louder than anyone.
