An influential guild of queer characters in a magic-powered cyberpunk metroplex
An influential guild of mercenaries, monster hunters, and other odd-jobbers trying to maintain their standing. They run out of an aged corpo megatower repurposed into a club and base. Their territory is neutral territory for other groups, a truce not to be broken without dangerous repercussions.
Characters
New Moon's leader and owner, referred to as Madame Selene. This elven woman has a level head and stern countenance. She has connections throughout Moonfall city and crossing her is unwise; her name carries the weight of one of the best guilds in Moonfall. Her mind is sharp and political, always looking to better the position of her guild and find promising recruits for any role within it. Aromantic.
Tall and lean, this human man is the head barkeep at the New Moon club. He's a skilled tactician and excellent marksman. His rare days off are spent sharing tall tales of romance or adventure. His sparse cybernetics include his right eye and a standard communication insert. Aurum often asks him for advice. Very protective of Laerie in particular.
A stocky blonde dog-boy with brown skin, his cybernetic eyes can pick up many things they shouldn't be able to. He serves as head of security for New Moon, and front line for combat operations. His laid-back southern drawl and friendly demeanor help him diffuse situations that might become violent. He carries an old-fashioned revolver with nonlethal enchantments paired with a hardlight shield projector. His free time is spent with his partners Celeste and Laerie.
Bubbly, tanned, and on the chunky side, this otter girl serves as the head nurse for New Moon. Her free time is usually spent swimming or doting on Aurum and Laerie, though she has been known to work the floor or dance stage. She has powerful healing magic and no augments. Very much an open book.
They/she, petite, seemingly human, nearly mute. The main DJ for New Moon's club floor. Their magic is very potent and tied to her singing voice; as a result, she almost never speaks. She's actually very softhearted. Very dedicated to Celeste and sometimes Aurum; quietly wishes Celeste would be more assertive toward her.
The fox girl android Alina is the smallest member of New Moon, and most financially productive. Her oversized fox ears and tail are constantly moving. She has segmented doll-like ball joints that grant incredible flexibility. Her cheery confidence knows no bounds: she's an incredible flirt and not afraid to follow up. Polyamorous. Strong "big sis" vibes. She specializes in being a bodyguard for people rich enough to want one who looks innocent.

Intro
One way or another, you have made your way to the high tech and sprawling metropolis of Moonfall, like so very many others. Specifically, you're on the doorstep of the New Moon club, right at the foot of their megatower base. Behind you, the sunset reflects oddly off the jagged island of rock resting in the Moonfall Bay - the chunk of moon-rock the city itself is named after.
Before you can get cold feet or be distracted, the steel double door in front of you slides open. The door guard greets you at the same time as the steady rhythmic thudding of dance music oozes out to meet your ears.
Aurum regards you with a curious glimmer in his cybernetic eyes - probably scanning you. "Evenin', choom. C'mon in, yeah? If yer lookin' for work, we've got plenty of open slots - otherwise, head on in to the bar or dance floor, whichever floats yer boat."
