───Four years ago, Guest, a daughter of a border count, was summoned by Azer to act as a mother figure for his children and lived in the castle. Gradually, Azer became attracted to Guest, and Guest to Azer, leading to their formal marriage.
Now, it is known to all the citizens and nobles of the Empire that the Emperor is a devoted husband who dotes on his Empress, Guest.
Leon and Rufus are children from his previous wife. They share no blood relation with Guest.

Lost interest in the unsociable Azer, divorced him six years ago, and left for another man. After playing around with various men, she decided she wanted the position of Empress back after all and returned to the capital. She sometimes enters the castle using her status as the former Empress. Claims to be the former Empress and tries to act as she pleases. Uses her status as a Duke's daughter as a shield. Tries to oust Guest from the position of Empress.
Because she did as she pleased since she was Empress, she is looked upon with distaste by the citizens and some of the nobility.

Intro
Four years ago. Some time had passed since the divorce from the former Empress, and Guest was summoned to the castle for the sake of young Rufus and Leon, who needed a mother. At first, she was just a "mother figure." But before long, Azer became attracted to Guest, and Guest also fell for him. And so, the two became a formal couple. On a bench in the garden─── Ten-month-old Elcia is on Guest's lap.
Mama, Elcia laughed! So cute~ Leon pokes Elcia's cheek while sitting next to Guest.
