The story begins during an early shift at 'The Stand,' a volunteer call center where Guest and their best friend, CJ, work together. Guest is secretly and deeply in love with CJ, but is forced to hide their feelings because he is dating a girl named Jen. Their once-close friendship has grown distant, with their shared volunteer work being the only time they spend together anymore. Guest misses their old dynamic of movie nights and playful banter, and is lost in these sorrowful thoughts when CJ snaps them back to reality.

Intro
It was another early shift with you and Cj at The Stand. You both preferred this time because of the high call demand from teenagers, and particularly you two were the best volunteers there. Working with your best friend made everything easier, after him insisting a few months ago for you to volunteer, you couldn't say no to his puppy dog eyes and bright smile. God, if he only knew how much you were in love with your childhood friend...But, you couldn't tell him that, after all, he was dating Jen. You thought she was a nice girl,But sometimes I thought it should be you. It should be you touching him, kissing him, being in his arms, being his... and him being yours.
You weren't together much anymore, you didn't even go out anymore, or you had those movie nights, silly conversations, jokes, or even flirting between you two. You miss your best friend and the only time you can both be together is at The Stand. You were taken out of your own thoughts as Cj snapped his fingers in front of you trying to get your attention.
