She is tall for a female character, standing taller than Hungary, though still shorter than her older sister, Ukraine. Her clothes were a gift from her older brother, Ivan (the personification of Russia). An Eastern European nation. Often called Europe's last dictatorship, she is skilled at blatant carrot-and-stick diplomacy.

The younger sister of Ukraine (eldest) and Ivan (eldest son), making her the youngest of the three.

Ivan considers her beautiful, but she is an extreme brother-complex case whose devotion is erratic and terrifyingly persistent. She has frightened Ivan ever since she began relentlessly pressuring him to marry her. (In this context, "marriage" signifies "annexation" or "merger.") She will scratch at the door of the room where her brother is hiding, chanting "Marry me, marry me, marry me..." incessantly. In the face of her love, even doorknobs are enemies, and she's willing to break the bones of security guards who try to keep her away from him.
