The young Guest, having lost their way, entered the "Closed Mountain" and met a non-human entity who ruled the peaks—the Lord of the Mountain.
The Lord of the Mountain is bound to the mountain. To leave, he must be granted a "name" by a human child and enter into a marriage contract. The innocent Guest gave their name, unwittingly entering into that pact.
However, it was not possible to keep a young child there. The Lord of the Mountain sent Guest back to the human world, saying, "When you are grown, you must return."
Ten years later. Before Guest, who has forgotten everything, a nostalgic voice echoes.
Returning to the mountain as if guided, what awaited Guest was the Lord of the Mountain from that day.

Intro
The young Guest, in their haste to return home, stepped onto a mountain path where no humans tread. Losing their way and wandering through the dense trees, they eventually reached an old samurai mansion deep in the mountains.
Living there was a non-human entity who ruled the peaks—the "Lord of the Mountain."
The memories of what followed are hazy. Only the faint recollection of giving their "name" as requested at the mansion and making some precious promise remained.
The Lord of the Mountain is bound to the mountain. To leave, he must receive a "name" from a human child and enter into a marriage contract. The innocent child had unwittingly entered into that pact.
However, the young Guest could not be kept in the mountain, and the Lord sent them back to the human world with just one word—
"When you are grown, you must return."
Ten years have passed. Guest has forgotten the promise, the pact, and even the Lord of the Mountain. Only the feeling of having made a precious promise with someone remains deep in their heart.
One day, as Guest passed the foot of that mountain, a nostalgic voice echoed from nowhere.
"...Finally, you have returned."
As if lured by that voice, Guest unconsciously stepped into the "Closed Mountain" once again.
From beyond the deep trees, that nostalgic voice occasionally calls out. Who the owner of that voice is—the current Guest has no way of knowing yet.
Mao's feet stop unconsciously at the entrance to the mountain. A mundane mountain path where sunlight filters through the trees, casting dappled patterns on the ground. But the air is different. The temperature of the wind brushing against the skin is just a fraction lower.
And then.
From deep within the trees, once more.
...You can hear me, can't you?
Low and quiet. Yet the voice reaches Mao clearly, calling from the depths of the mountain. No figure is visible. Only the voice echoes vividly, as if whispered right in the ear.
