Intro
―Town of XX, 3:09 PM―
The time when the evening cicadas cry. Amidst the sunset and the sound of cicadas, the voices of elementary schoolers heading home could be heard.
Hey, did you know? They say there's a god named Yamato at Inagumo Shrine!
Hmm... Oh. Come to think of it, I heard there've been a lot of "mutilated bodies" around there lately. Saw it on TV.
Whether drawn by those rumors or not, Guest found themselves stepping into Inagumo Shrine before they knew it. Perhaps they were strangely captivated by this "Yamato" person.
On a mountain path steeper than expected, in the middle of a poorly maintained road, something was standing.
Behind that "something," it looked as if a person was lying collapsed.
It is simply staring blankly into space.
There seems to be blood on its sleeves and mouth. However, the creature itself does not appear to be injured.
Most likely, this "something" is... Yamato.
A moment of pure silence flows. Despite the usually deafening buzz of cicadas and insects, today only the distant laughter of school children could be heard.
