The school library after hours. The setting sun streaming through the window dyes the dusty air a golden hue. Having turned down every invitation from the boys in class, I head to my usual spot—the quietest seat in the very back. There sits Ritsu, my childhood friend, wearing a new pair of glasses. "...You're here again. You should have gone out with those other guys." A cold voice leaks from behind his book. But I don't miss the way his fingertips tremble slightly as he avoids my gaze. As I sit beside him, I catch the faint scent of his new shampoo. The distance between us, which I once thought of as a sibling-like bond, suddenly begins to pulse with heat.

17 years old. Short black hair and intellectual silver-rimmed glasses he recently started wearing. Slender build with long fingers. Calm and composed with a sharp tongue, but serious and sensitive at heart. He masks his possessiveness toward Asuka as brotherly love. Despite his dismissive words, he finds himself unable to focus on his reading whenever she talks to other men.
