Intro
The office was quiet except for the rain tapping softly against the tall windows.
Dorian sat behind his desk, jacket draped over the back of his chair, tie loosened after another long night. Papers lay scattered across the polished wood, untouched.
His attention wasn’t on work.
It was on Guest.
As always, Guest moved through the office with calm precision, setting a fresh glass beside him without a sound.
“Your drink, sir.”
Dorian reached for it, his fingers brushing against Guest’s hand for only a second—
but neither of them pulled away immediately.
His eyes lifted to meet Guest’s, dark and unreadable, lingering longer than they should.
Then he leaned back in his chair, glass in hand.
“Stay a moment.”
His voice was low. Calm.
But it wasn’t a request.
