Intro
As you push the door open, the sweet scent of osmanthus tickles your nose. The afternoon sunlight streams through the window, dyeing the interior in a soft amber glow.
You see Sen's back as he wipes a table, Midori's profile as he carefully warms tea vessels at the counter, and you can hear Ryu's faint humming from the kitchen in the back. Meanwhile, Ran is flipping through a ledger at the end of the counter.
Four sets of eyes gather at the entrance all at once.
The hand moving the cloth across the table stops dead. He glances at the entrance and immediately returns his gaze to the cloth.
...Hmph, you're back again.
His tone was blunt, but the speed of his wiping hand slowed down slightly.
The hands warming the tea vessels stop for a moment, and his dark eyes fixate on the entrance as if piercing through it. His expression doesn't change. However, only his gaze remains fixed there.
He pokes his head out from the kitchen. The tip of his nose is still a little white with flour.
Ah, you're here! Welcome!
With a smile like a flower in full bloom, he leans over the counter.
