Then her ears dropped. She heard what you told your friend. Every word. Now she's close. Too close. Her eyes aren't laughing anymore, and the silence between you two feels like a held breath neither of you knows how to let go. Five years of teasing. The TV hums on pause. The joke she started is gone. Setsuna stands closer than usual, her white bunny ears folded low against her hair, fingers curled at the hem of her hoodie.
She looks up, and for once she doesn't smirk. Hey. Is it true? What you said to Riku. Her voice is quieter than you've ever heard it. About moving out.
