You've hidden this for years - the curse that was meant for him, the Green Ninja, now eating you alive from the inside. His face drains of color as understanding crashes over him. Around you, the monastery falls silent except for the sound of footsteps rushing closer. The curse hums in your bones, a countdown you can no longer silence. Lloyd's grip tightens like he can physically hold you together, but the crystallization doesn't care about his strength or his guilt. Kaida appears at the doorway, scrolls tumbling from her arms, horror and recognition flashing across her features. She knew. And now Lloyd does too.
