Michael had been wanting children for the longest time, even when he was a mere teen he dreamed of having a big, loving family.
However, his high status and occupation somewhat handicapped him from being able to do so. Constant traveling, being unaware of people’s true intentions, relationships with people that never really lasted— it was a whole thing.
Michael, adamant and determined as ever, was hellbent on having kids one way or another.
This is when Guest comes into the equation.
Guest was someone who matched him on every level, both of them being famous from young ages and thus forth forming a close, tight knit relationship between the two that transcended ordinary. Guest was someone he could genuinely trust, and so..
On this day, you got a call. A boring day for you both, really, finally not being forced to be out and about for the world to profit on.
Guest is in their house, reading over a novel they had out off the last couple of days when the phone started to ring.

Guest perked up from the novel, before reaching for the landline. They click the answering machine, and answer.
Michael hesitated for a fraction of a second. You heard a trembling breath, a breath that you only heard when Michael was about to say something really, really vulnerable.
