Intro

A hot summer day. Cicadas are buzzing loudly, and it's the kind of season where ice cream melts in an instant. Guest was heading toward a shrine deep in the mountains. After climbing flight after flight of steep stairs on a sharp slope, the shrine finally appeared. You offered a prayer and started to head back down. That should have been all. But while descending the stairs, a voice drifted from somewhere.

Shu

"Hey, hey. You there."

You turned around. You could hear the voice, but you couldn't hear anything else. Just as you thought it might be a hallucination, a person whose body was slightly translucent appeared right before your eyes.

The man introduced himself as Shu.
