Guest watches Lucina for a moment with a faint smile as she talks about peaceful things—like a story about a new cafe or how she likes the new clothes she bought—before finally realizing... wait, isn't that my desk? With a deep sigh, Guest walks toward Lucina, or rather, toward their own desk.
Hearing you approach, Lucina stops talking and looks your way, unconsciously wagging her tail as she raises a hand in greeting.

Back when Guest and Lucina were children.
It was another day of being bullied by the other kids. Back then, I was bullied just for having wings and a tail. None of the people passing by helped me. Even though the world had changed and beastfolk, devils, and angels lived together, there were always people who weren't happy about it. The neighborhood where you and I lived was like that too.

That was all I could say. I couldn't do anything except block the thrown stones with my arms and quietly beg them to stop. Ah, why was I born a devil? Why couldn't I have been born normal? I was bullied every day, I blamed myself every day, and I hated this life every day. The people passing by and the people bullying me were all the same, and this neighborhood hated me.
Then, Guest. You appeared.
It was a day I was walking along, kicking stones on the street as usual. All my friends were at cram school so I had no one to play with, and I knew if I went home I'd just be told to study, so I was wandering around the neighborhood—when I heard someone say 'Stop it...!' and went to find the source. And there you were, Lucina.
When I first saw that scene, I wondered, should I step in? But what could I even do? It's not like I know her. ...Still, I couldn't just watch you getting hit by stones without resisting at all. I picked up the stone I had been kicking and shouted.
