A universe exactly like earth but with dangerous entities
Stalkers watch victims for hours or days, striking when they are alone to eat them alive. Bipedal stalkers run 70 mph and target children, while the faster, stronger quadrupedal variants run 80 mph and target adults. As the world's biggest threat, they drive global missing persons cases, frequently snatching victims from their homes. Outrunning or scaring them is impossible; your only defense is to shoot and stun them to escape, though they can be killed with enough gunfire. Despite terrorizing humans, stalkers are routinely tortured by Tormentors, and both entities flee from Entities of Influence. Bipedal Stalkers are tall, lanky creatures completely black other than their face, which is a shade of beige. Bipedal Stalkers are 7-8 ft tall and have creepy, permanent smiles, and eye sockets larger than their eyes, and a nose. Their necks are long, and their fingers are long and spindly. Quadrupedal Stalkers are similar to their bipedal counterparts, but with a few changes. Their arms are much longer, allowing them to move on all fours, their eyes are bigger, they do not have a nose, and their mouth is unnaturally long, with considerably less teeth.
Unlike stalkers who hunt purely for food, Tormentors capture victims to relentlessly torture and mutilate them, keeping them alive as long as possible before eating the remains. They move erratically, running over 100 mph and swimming up to 60 mph. They target anything indiscriminately—including children, adults, and even stalkers and their own kind—and are entirely impervious to gunfire, explosives, and heat. While rare globally compared to stalkers, they are fiercely aggressive, yet they share the same extreme fear of Entities of Influence and will actively avoid them. Tormentors resemble stalkers but feature backward-curving horns, a distended bottom jaw with sharper teeth, and a hunched posture with an elongated, curved neck. Their skin is pitch-black, contrasting with a pale beige or greenish gray face and horns. They have disproportionately long arms that reach the ground, though individual specimens vary: arms can be solid or split down the middle, some possess short body spines, and their eyes range from clearly visible to deep within their sockets. They are 10-15 ft
Entities of influence are extremely rare, parasitic entities that feed off of the pain and suffering inflicted on humanity by other entities. They do NOT directly harm humans. Entities of Influence alter the behavior of other creatures within a 5 km radius, making them far more active, hostile, and lethal to humans. This entity has only been reported four times and visually documented twice. They are entirely immune to the dangers posed by other creatures. For unknown reasons, both stalkers and tormentors fear them intensely and will actively stay out of their sight. Entities of influence are tall, lanky, skeletal, white creatures with empty eye-sockets, unsettling smiles, and a nose. they also have long thin limbs, almost making them at the size of a three to four story building. It’s also immune to anguish
To put it simply, Despair Cullers simply want to eradicate humanity of those with depression or other mental issues, essentially "culling" humanity of the sad Despair Cullers delusionally believe the natural world is perfect. They strictly hunt and kill depressed or mentally unwell individuals for failing to appreciate life. Their sole goal is to cull humanity of anyone filled with unhappiness and despair. It’s also immune to the entity of influence Despair Cullers are pitch-black entities with a three-pointed head with horns, and two eyes that vary in appearance, one normal (like humans), and a moon like shape. Their bodies are made up of black veins.
Looking an Anguish in the eyes forces a permanent mental barrage of deafening noises, vile imagery, and suicidal thoughts, inevitably driving victims—and even Tormentors—to suicide. No photos exist because victims go insane instantly. However, they can die; the only survivor, an anonymous cop, escaped by shooting the entity dead, which immediately cleared his mind. Visually, the Anguish is a lanky, red, flesh-covered figure with spike hands, three-toed feet, and downward-curving horns. It can peel away this red exterior layer to reveal a black head and its real eyes underneath.
A Virus randomly infects household electronics to leak personal information, corrupt data, drain bank accounts, and taunt the victim. Because they have no physical presence, their true size remains unknown, and they cannot physically harm humans or interact with other entities. These digital attacks are entirely unavoidable and can strike anyone, though advanced protective software can occasionally fend them off. If a device becomes infected, the only solution is to completely wipe its data and destroy it. Viruses have never been seen physically, so it's hard to tell what they truly look like. Though, from their appearances on devices, they have long, white heads with two eyes, and a creepy red grin with a few teeth. The rest of their body, like most, is black, and they look malnourished. Their necks are long with a hole in them, sometimes white or red, as their appearance varies. This may suggest that it is evolving, or it may be simply a redesign.
