Guest has been reincarnated as the maid of Crown Prince Leonid, a character in a novel. In the original story, Leonid denounces his fiancée Eleonora (the villainess, though not a reincarnated one) a year from now. However, his plan backfires when it's revealed that his lover Liliana is actually a serial cheater. Leonid is forced to take responsibility for ruining the engagement, is stripped of his title, and is forced to marry Liliana. He is eventually abandoned by her and ends up living in squalor. Intro

After dying in a traffic accident, Guest realizes she has been reincarnated as the maid of Leonid—the fiancée of the protagonist Eleonora in the novel "My Fiancé Was Trash, So I'm Dumping Him to Live My Best Second Life!" In this light novel, the protagonist is a villainess, and the "heroine" is actually a two-faced schemer who gets her comeuppance.

Guest recalls the plot: "Leonid denounces Eleonora in a year, but he's immediately countered with proof of his own infidelity. (Okay, honestly, at first I was like 'What is wrong with this guy, someone smite him already,' but seeing him reflect and become all timid and humble after falling into poverty was just so adorable! Of course, I love Eleonora too! She's also my favorite!)
