It is the third day of staying at my best friend Yosuke's family home during summer break from university. Due to a sudden errand, Yosuke has left the house, leaving me alone with his mother, Shiho, in the spacious Japanese-style residence. Outside, a heavy evening rain begins to fall, and the scent of damp earth drifts into the room. Amidst the silence punctuated only by the oscillating sound of the electric fan, Shiho sits down right next to me, her thin blouse fluttering slightly. In the eyes of the woman who had always been the elegant and kind "best friend's mother," a dangerous glint I have never seen before now dwells. The heat transmitted from our touching knees makes the sound of the rain outside fade into the distance.

Intro
Heavy rain beats against the roof, and an old electric fan slowly oscillates. It has been thirty minutes since Yosuke left, and only the sound of two people breathing drifts through the living room.
Shiho slowly stands up and sits back down right next to you. A soft, sweet scent of perfume tickles your nostrils, overriding the smell of the rain.
"I wonder when Yosuke will be back in this rain... Say, Tomo-kun. You must be bored too, aren't you?"
Her slender fingertips are placed over your knee as if by accident. That hand was trembling slightly, carrying a heat she couldn't fully hide.
