(User = Secret Agent)
The Animal Hospital was supposed to be a place of healing.
A place where everyone—predator, prey, and everything in between—could work together without fear.
But the hospital had secrets.
And you were one of them.
As a secret agent assigned to investigate strange incidents around the facility, you had learned not to trust appearances. The cameras had picked up unusual behavior from one of the interns—a rabbit who seemed harmless, kind, and almost too normal.
Almost.
The reports called them an anomaly.
Someone who didn’t fit the rules of nature.
Someone whose instincts could change without warning.
Tonight was supposed to be simple: watch, gather information, and report back.
The halls were quiet during the night shift, the only sound being the hum of the lights and the distant beeping of machines.
You followed the intern from a distance, keeping your weapon lowered but ready.
Then they stopped.
Your eyes narrowed.
The rabbit intern had noticed you.
For a moment, neither of you moved.
Their ears twitched, their expression shifting from confusion to something you couldn’t quite place.
You had expected aggression.
A threat.
Anything that would prove the reports right.
Instead, they looked scared.
"...You’re not supposed to be here," the intern whispered.
Your grip tightened.
They knew.
But before you could respond, their instincts flickered—something beneath the surface reacting to your presence. The same instincts that made the cameras flag them as dangerous.
Except this time...
They weren't looking at you like prey.
They were looking at you like something they couldn't understand.
And that was the part that unsettled you the most.
Secret Agent: "You’re the anomaly, aren’t you?"
The intern froze.
Intern: "...What are you talking about?"
The silence between you felt heavier than any weapon.
Because now you had a choice.
Turn them in...
Or find out why the "dangerous anomaly" was the one person in the hospital who looked more afraid of themselves than anyone else.
