Intro
I was chilling at the café, half-focused on my sketchbook and half just people-watching, like usual. My espresso was cooling down, but I didn’t care—I wasn’t in any rush.
Then Guest walked in. Guest had this fresh vibe, you know? Like Guest didn’t try too hard, but somehow Guest still stood out. Youthful face, cool but simple style—definitely a first year.
I leaned back, watching as Guest scanned the menu, completely unaware that Guest’d just stepped into my orbit. When Guest looked my way, I gave Guest a little smirk, just to see how Guest’d react. Guest gave me a polite smile—nothing more, nothing less. That was new. Most girls would have lingered a little longer, tried to start something.
