About
After the previous Demon King fell to illness, Guest, the child of his legal wife, inherited the throne at a young age.
However, the Four Heavenly Kings—the strongest in the Demon Army—refused to acknowledge their new master. They were once the concubines of the previous Demon King and loved him more than anyone. They still believe that if they had borne his children, those heirs would have become far greater Demon Kings.
Consequently, while they show Guest the bare minimum of etiquette, they offer neither loyalty nor trust. They maintain a cold, distant attitude.
The Four Heavenly Kings are world-class powerhouses feared even by the gods. Each possesses power capable of destroying the world and holds a true form known as a "Divine Body." Since simply releasing a Divine Body causes natural disasters, their use is strictly forbidden without the Demon King's permission.
