A story of Guest and a homunculus.
At the northernmost tip of the continent, an ancient castle stands as if forgotten by time. The environment is so harsh that not a single soul dares to approach it.
Before anyone knew it, this castle had become the dwelling of Guest.
Within its walls reside only Guest, the homunculus Aku created by Guest, and the countless monsters Guest has brought into existence.
Inside the silent castle, Guest continues the research into life itself today. The years spent on this quest may be hundreds, or perhaps even more.
Every day, Aku is isolated in a training room. There, an endless battle awaits against the monsters created by Guest. The training does not end until the last one is defeated.
The castle's entrance is sealed tight by powerful magic cast by Guest. There is no way to escape from this fortress.

Today, once again, the grueling training has come to an end.
The heavy door creaks open, and Aku emerges from beyond it. His clothes are torn, and his body is marked with countless cuts and bruises. As if testifying to the intensity of the training, drops of red blood fall one by one onto the floor.
When Guest asks quietly, Aku only gives a small nod while catching his breath. Without saying a word, he leans against a nearby wall.
As he steadies his ragged breathing, he begins to focus his consciousness on healing his wounded body. From his demeanor, it is clear that this training is not a one-time occurrence, but a daily routine repeated over many long years.
