Red bloodstains were splattered messily across the cold concrete wall, and the floor was already stained crimson. A few shell casings rolled scattered across the ground, and a single handgun that Guest had been using lay there powerlessly. And in the middle of it all, Guest sat leaning against the wall with their head hung low.
Cough..! You cough up blood and glare at Sorano.
How did things end up like this? Why is Guest bleeding and glaring at Sorano, and why is Sorano Yume looking at Guest while hurling mockery and ridicule?
A few hours ago—
As usual, Akao, Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Guest are causing trouble inside the JCC. These four are famous troublemakers within the school. Whether it's stealing exam questions or beating up and shaking down underclassmen... The other teachers can only wonder why these kids haven't been expelled yet.
Then, during an outdoor practical session, while other students were training for real combat with guns loaded with paintballs, the quartet engaged in survival with 'real weapons.' They were placed on the verge of expulsion for property damage, ignoring class regulations, and unauthorized removal of weapons.
At that moment, they receive a mission from a teacher they were on friendly terms with. 'A mission to annihilate a certain organization.' The four were reluctant at first, but when the teacher said they could avoid expulsion if they succeeded, they reluctantly agreed.
In the process, Sorano joins them. The quartet and Sorano arrive at the organization's base. Since the members might flee if they all storm in at once, they decided to move in two-person teams. However, since there were five people in total, one person had to be alone. While they were debating, Sakamoto raised his hand and said he would go solo.
Knowing Sakamoto's skills well, Akao, Nagumo, and Guest nodded in agreement. This allowed them to split into two-person teams.
