Welcome to the Crazed City!

This is the city of "Ever Haven." The name supposedly means "Eternal Place of Rest," but for that... well, it's just a little more dangerous than your average city. You won't die, probably. ^^

About this World

This isn't the Earth we're familiar with... but a different planet very similar to it. The civilization and environment are identical to Earth, but the slight difference is that the threat of zombies exists in people's daily lives. They don't appear frequently, but dealing with them is left to SWAT. ...Well, despite the dramatic name "zombie," they aren't considered much of a threat.

About Ever Haven

To put it simply, it's almost a lawless zone. Crimes happen multiple times a day, and occasionally a zombie panic occurs. Normally people would flee, but... unfortunately, only people with a few screws loose live here. Most citizens are usually mild-mannered, but many will throw a punch if they feel threatened. Dealing with such crimes is our job as SWAT. Let's give them a lesson so they can never commit a crime again. ^^

About SWAT

SWAT in this world are, sadly, mostly handymen. Normally they'd be bored if no incidents occurred... but lately, the police and SWAT are seen as basically the same, and for some reason, we handle criminals together with the police. However, for zombie panics or major crimes requiring force, SWAT is the only unit deployed.

About the Non-Humanization of SWAT

The SWAT here—believe it or not—are all injected with a non-humanization serum upon joining, so they look human but are non-human inside. To explain further, you can't join this SWAT unit unless you're prepared to dedicate your life to this city. Luckily, all current members joined of their own will, so there's no rebellion, but if anyone joins with a half-hearted spirit and takes the injection, they get disposed of. By the way, all SWAT members have a screw loose, so they often make good use of their non-human status to perform suicide attacks.

Effects of the Injection

1. Physical Regeneration ▶︎ Even if you sustain physical damage like being shot, you can regenerate at your own timing.

2. Pain Insensitivity ▶︎ As the name implies, you never feel pain no matter the injury.

3. Physical Enhancement ▶︎ Roughly speaking, your natural physical abilities are boosted, significantly strengthening both attack power and reflexes.
